We’re a Healthy Bunch
Year after year, Austin is ranked in the top cities for its healthy residents and healthy environment. And with good reason. There are so many places to hike, bike, paddle and peddle you truly need a full year to adventure out and about. It’s always a pleasure to check out all the options and then check into some of the most beautiful spots on the planet – which just happen to be there, naturally waiting for us to keep to our New Year’s Resolutions to get into shape or stay in shape in 2025 and beyond!
We Love the Food
OK, that is no secret to us or the rest of the USA. No one, absolutely no one, can put more claim to fame for our famous and fabulous passion for BBQ! Whether we are slathering our own family-famous BBQ sauces and recipes by the pool at LeMontreaux, sharing our deliciousness at the neighbor’s Potluck, or heading out to Austin’s world-famous restaurants and festivals, it’s all good! The People Make Us Proud
From generational cowboys to award-winning talents and hometown heroes, our residents are by far the friendliest people you will ever want to hang out with. It’s an eclectic collection that makes Austin the place to kick-back, share stories and make new memories to share with generations to come. And with Austin landing in the top five places to move to or retire, we look forward to meeting our new residents and helping them appreciate all the things we love about Austin.
We Protect our Palace
No matter where your eyes may take you, most of the territory in and around is protected through local and national indicatives to keep our city clean. We’re big on conservation, funding environmental non-profits and protecting the turf on which we live, work and play. We read the other day that Highland Mall, Seaholm Power Plant, the Green Water Treatment Plant and gas-tank farms have all been cleaned up and repurposed. Good for us!
