Join the Annual Community Marchand honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in a celebration of diversity and inclusion! This event, highlighted by the Austin Area Heritage Council, promises a heartfelt and thoughtful experience. On Monday, January 20, 2025, the festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. on the south steps of the Texas State Capitol. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then, participate in the inspiring march from the Martin Luther King Jr. statue on the University of Texas campus to the historic Huston-Tillotson University. This march is open to everyone—businesses, non-profits, and individuals alike—so grab your friends and family and march for a cause that unites us all! <\/span><\/p>\n

The celebration continues at Huston-Tillotson University, where the MLK Festival will be in full swing, featuring a vibrant array of local vendors and fantastic musical acts to keep the festive spirit alive! <\/span><\/p>\n
